Hola Hola Polish Lovers....
I have a special post today, my basically TWIN Maria from Nails Made Simple and I decided to do twin posts!! YAY sounds like fun huh? We were having one of our late night text conversations and decided that it would be fun to do these twin posts! Give us some motivation or inspiration for manis :)
Our first twin post is a Gradient Mani.... Maria picked Blue and said I should pick a color .. of course I couldn't just pick one and make it simple I picked pink and purple ( I did this because I'm trying to use as many polishes from my October bag as possible) shhhhhhh Don't tell Maria that!!!
Anyways, it was fun doing this mani, eventhough I was not feeling it as I was working on it, but after looking at it for a while it grew on me! I had lunch with a friend of mine and her boyfriend, she couldn't stop looking at my nails and didn't understand how it was done. I told her it was just a sponge and mixing colors..then her boyfriend said yeah like painting a car you mix the color to get special effect WTF hahahah
Anyways... sorry for the long story.. on to the pics!!!
I used China Glaze Ahoy!, Orly Velvet Rope & Royal Navy.. I also added some Cover Girl Godess top coat!!
Don't forgot to check out my twin Maria's page Nails Made Simple and see what she has in store for us today :) We will have another twin post next week :) don't miss out!
Til next time...

ReplyDeleteI love all the colors you picked, the sparkling top coat is just the perfect touch.
Twin posts are a cute idea.. Love the colors here. =)
ReplyDeleteLove this gradient mani and the colours you both picked! Funny to read what a man thinks about it as well, ROFL. Is that the Revlon quick drying top coat that you're using? I've tried it bt it just doesn't work for me :(
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try sponging!! These are really cool-I would prefer no pink-but what can you do right?
ReplyDeleteyour gradients are always amazing!
ReplyDeleteVita ~ It is a really cute Idea, so much fun
ReplyDeleteMarox ~ You should try it very soon with you new CG polish :-P
Zoe ~ Thanks sooo sweet
Carolina ~ I love the sparkling top coat makes everything look so much prettier :)
ROchelle ~ The colors did turn out great together
Simona ~ LOL yeah soo funny so see the things men think hahaha YES it is the REVLON top coat, I love it.. I have been using it for a while now, I like it better than SV ..it take a bit longer to dry but the shine its amazing and it last for a very long time!
Fingers ~ You have to try sponging makes manis look so cool and yet its so easy.. LOL YOU PINK HATER... I have found myself gravitating towards pinks and reds lately :)Loving it!!!
Desiree ~ THanks :)
The colours on this are a great match!
ReplyDeleteyours look as pretty as maria's
ReplyDeleteAHA!!! no wonder you picked two colors!! LOL LOL LOL i told you i already know what color i want .. and im sure it wasn't a surprise i picked blue & then you text back with TWO colors.. hahah i was like hmm okay!! hahahhaha i love what you did! remember i told you i took my mani off? well thats because it looked something like this! LOL LOL but instead i had used blue as a base color. hahha and then it went down hill from there! that would of been funny though ..hahhaa i totally love your gradient better than mine! & you know what else i also have a picture holding the Revlon top coat but i didnt want to add too many so i didnt put it up.. now i think i should so we can be twins on that too! LMFAO this is so much fun i cant wait till next friday :D
