Mother & Daughter Mani ♥

Maria AKA my Twin from Nails Made Simple came up with this awesome idea to do Mother & Daughter matching mani for Mothers Day :) I was totally up for it as soon as she mentioned it and we also have some other awesome ladies on board for this post :)

My mom loves to get her nails painted, I do them all the time. She was a "RED" only type of gal, but that has changed since I started doing her nails and she loves it! I made 2 versions of this mani and asked her to pick the one she liked :) This mani was fun to do and the best part of it was taking pictures, we had a blast, she kept telling me lets do our hands like this or put them this way... bossy mom :-P!

I know that Mother's Day is celebrated different dates worldwide, growing up we celebrated it May 10th, so we usually do something that day or the 2nd Sunday in May or BOTH! Happy Mother's day to all you wonderful ladies, I hope you have a Great day!!!!

I drew these hearts on our nails, I did my moms BIG because she has a big heart, she is wonderful and loving and very supportive in anything I do.  The love of a mother is truly unconditional, I am very thankful for having her :)

Base: My franken My Baby Blues
THEN I sponged using the following colors:
Revlon: TBA lol I can't remember the name
China Glaze: Dance Baby, Ring in the Red
China Glaze: Ray-Diant  ~~thanks for Heather from Peace, Love, Polish for this awesome polish :)THEN I did a heart with the dotting tool!

This is what I'm getting my mom: It's a Pandora Charm, the inside of the loop it says You & Me .. Me & You :)  ... What are you getting your mom for Mothers Day?

The following girls are also participating, stop by and check out their post :)

Pretty & Polished ~ Jawbreaker

I love white polish and this one was not exception! Application was wonderful, I was not able to get a lot fo the big glitters, but that is probably because I didn't shake the bottle enough.

After a couple of days I got some tip wear on the accent finger so I did a gradient with Lynnderella Snow Angel.

What I used:
Pretty & Polished ~ Jawbreaker
Sephora by OPI ~ It's My Pink (Betsey Johnson Collection)
Lynnderella - Snow Angel

Purchasing Info:
Pretty & Polished Etsy shop HERE and it looks like she will open tomorrow 5/9
Lynnderella:  at Llarowe

Thanks for looking... til next time!

butter LONDON Lillibet's Jubilee Swatch & Review

If you love Metallics, this one is a must! butter LONDON'S website describes this as a "silvery, lavender metallic foil, heavily infused with holographic glitter"

I agree with the silvery, lavender metallic part, but there is no holographic glitter in there or it does not translate to the nail very well. I still love this polish though, application is flawless, you can probably get away with 1 coat, I did 2 for this mani. I have worn it twice, the first time I had it alone for 3 days, the second I stamped over and wore it for 5 days, I did get tip wear around the third day, but it holds up pretty well.

Then here is the stamped mani :) .. I LOVED THIS, I didn't do a top coat after the stamping because I liked how the metallic showed thru, it gave such a great contrast!

These were taken after a couple days of wear, these are outdoors!

& this is what I used for this mani:

Base: butter LONDON Lillibet's Jubilee
Stamp: RA 105
Illamasqua: Nomad
No Top Coat

Where to find: You can purchase butter LONDON from their webside www.butterlondon.com or you can find it at Ulta in stores on online www.ulta.com

Thanks for stoping by.. til next time!

Twinsie Friday ~ Cinco de Mayo

TGIF!!!!

If there is a reason to Celebrate and to paint my nails I'm IN!!! Tomorrow we will be Celebrating Cinco de Mayo, basically just a day to party in my book  :-P but if you interested in knowing more about it check it out HERE!!!

So with this in mind, we decided to go with Cinco de Mayo theme......... For this mani I used the colors of the Mexican Flag and I used these awesome studs I received from Born Pretty Store, which I'm sure you are all familiar with, but you if you are not, they have a wide selection of nail art products, polishes, stamps etc etc etc.. and FREE SHIPPING!!!

The studs come in a small resalable bag, and there is a ton of them in there. The are very easy to apply, what I did was put a top coat then I used one of my small dotting tools to pick these up, I slightly wet the dotting tool so the studs could stick to it, then place them on the nail and press slightly so they can stick to the nail. You can find this product HERE! You can also use this Coupon Code for a 5% discount  :) PA5J61!!!!

& These are the polishes I used

Hope you all have a great weekend!

& Happy Cinco de Mayo
