Twinsie Friday ~ A Blue Ray of Friendship ♥

Today's Twinsie post is a very special one for my twin & I as we are celebrating a 1 year Friendaversary it is amazing how quick a year goes by when you are having fun an sharing it with special people.

For this post, we dicided to use the polish that basically started our friendship. Essence Blue Ray from the Holographics collection, I found these at a local grocery store and I posted a picture and Maria as the "blue" lover she is, wanted one and contacted me about it and we have been talking ever since! I think it is pretty safe to say we have texted eachother basically everyday for the past year or so, we have shared so much from anything to everything! One of the best things I have found in this blogging world is this friendship, so happy to have you a friend Maria :) your friendship means a lot to me, thanks for always listening to my crazy stories and for your support, luv ya bish!

This polish is pretty, but it is very hard to capture, it has a duochrome effect, NOT HOLO, as you would think by the name of the collection "Holographics", but anyways...I decided to keep it simple and not cover much of the polish! Can't wait to see my twins mani.. check it out at Nails Made Simple!!!

Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend!

Twinsie Friday~ Shimmer Iris

My twin Maria and I are so crazy about Shimmer Polish, we ordered a custom made polish with our names. So for today's post we will be sharing our lovely polish. The lovely Cindy, who is the mastermind behind these creations came up with such a great combination. I'm in LOVE!

This is Iris, this polish is so intense it is so hard to describe or to even capture how pretty it is and it looks so different in every layering combination. It has a combination of pink, purple, gold, red, blue, green and black glitter in what seems to be a purple holo base or I could be losing my mind hahaha, maybe a purple shimmery base... IDK but it looks holo when its layered over black.

PICTURE OVERLOAD.....

1 coat of Shimmer Iris over Revlon Royal + top coat

AND MORE...........

PLUS MORE.....

OK.... I think I'm done :-P

To check out Shimmer Polish you may visit her Etsy Shop and check out the amazing stuff she has and if you don't find anything you like which I doubt it will happen, you can simply request your own custom made polish, you won't regret it! You can also check her out at www.shimmyshimmer.com

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Back to Stamping ♥

I had not stamped in a long time, so I decided to try it again!  I really admire those girls that do stamping all the time, it's so much work, patience and time, which I lack, but anyways its fun so I have decided to try it on a regular basis, well hopefully :-P

Base: ManGlaze Matte is Murder, Stamp with Color Club Worth the Risque, Bundle Monster Stamp # BM-301

I think this would had been better if I would had done a solid back base instead of something with shimmer, but I had something else in mind when I started the mani.

Hope you guys have a great week!!!

Twinsie Friday ~ Holo

TGIF!!!!!!

Another Twinsie Friday is here, for today we decided to use a holo polish, I love holos so I went a "little" overboard and pulled out as many as I could for this mani!

I placed my first order for a-England, I was excited about this one Saint George: Gorgeous!!!!

Then I decided to add more holo to the tips and used Glitter Gal Light as a Feather, it didn't turn out as I had pictured it, should had used a different color... oh well

Accent stamp using more holos:

Here is everything I used:
Color Club: Worth the Rique, a-England St. George & Tristam, Enchanted Magic Mirror, Glitter Gal Light as a Feather

Hope you all have a great weekend.. :)

Chanel Mimosa

Hello SUNSHINE...  I can't get enough of yellow nail polish, I love it!!!! Brightens up my day for sure. Before I purchased this polish, most of the blogs I saw it on mentioned that the formula was not good and it is true, took 4 coats, but its worth it!

Accent nail: Color Club Worth the Risque
Gradient & Accent: SOPI Indi-go with the Flow

Hope you guys have a great day!

Shimmer Melissa ♥

Shimmer Melissa is so girly and pretty, I love this combination, I am a big fan of purples, pinks so this is one of my favorites. There is also some red and gold in the mix, all these colors together look stunning.  This one has an excellent formula as the other Shimmers I have tried.

2 coats over OPI Dulce de Leche plus top coat

A Rhyming Dictionary Swatches and Review

I have a few beautiful polishes to show you from A Rhyming Dictionary. The creator of these polishes is a big fan of the Oz books, these are all inspired by the characters in the books.

First up we have the Nome King, this is a glitter bomb, it has so many shapes, sizes and color of glitter, what I love most about this one is the multi color micro shimmer, this is probably my favorite.
2 Coats over Essie Sand Tropez

Quox this is a mixture of matte glitter with an awesome turquoise micro shimmer which pops thru the matte glitters and it looks stunning.
2 coats over Essie Van'D Go

Private Files, this one mainly consists of square glitters and some random hex glitter with red micro shimmer. Although application was not terrible, you will need a few coats to get a few glitters on the nail. Also some of the red glitter curled :(
3 Coats over Revlon Cafe Pink

Betsy Bobbin, is another matte glitter mix with large black circle glitter, I love this one, those black circles are so neat, I don't have anything like that. I did have to play a bit with it to get the circles but it was not difficult to get them out.
2 coats over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls

Overall formula and application are great and they are also very unique. If you are a big fan of the Oz books or even if you are not, head on over to A Rhyming Dictionary's Etsy Shop and check out all the beauties she has created.

Hope you guys have a great week.

Any favorites from these?

Today I have Shimmer Linna to share with you guys, this one is a great teal/green combination with mixes of red, gold and some larger blue hex glitter. Just like the other Shimmer polishes shown here and here, this one has that special sparkle. Simply gorgeous and amazing formula.
