Hola Chicas,
I hope you are all having a great week, mine is going good and fast, so I couldn't ask for more!!!
Today I have a long overdue review on some water decals I received from KKcenterHK.
Let's get started shall we? hahahha I thought I would sound cool saying that :-P Anyways, this product is new to me, I know there are many of them out there but this is the first time I actually try it.
The decals I used are X&D-16#, these retail for $4.74USD + shipping
I forgot to take a picture of the back with the instrcutions but this is what you need:
The application was horrible, keep in mind I was new to this, so I am not sure if it was me or the product, but I followed the instructions on the back of the package, the decals were not sticking to my nails I tried leaving them in the water longer to see if that would help and maybe by the 4th nail it got a little bettter. After I was done I applied a top coat and it was good to go.
I know that everybody's nail beds are different but most of these didn't fit my nails I had to trim them to fit, which was not difficult to do but it may be a hastle for some, since really these are supposed to be simple and time saving right????
I only had these for a couple of days because I didn't like how they looked on me, I didn't like the pattern, which I picked myself, but felt it looked horrible on me :( But if you are into water decals KKcenterHK a wide WIDE selection of patterns so it is kind of hard to pick one.
Overall thoughts: I am not too thrilled with these decals, mainly because of the application issues, I am guessing there must be some technique to it and maybe it takes practice, but for me it didn't work so well. But like I said before if you are into this type of product and you know what you are doing then you might want to check KKcenterHK out because they do have a huge selection of decals. One thing I did like was their customer service, they are very nice and respond quickly.
Oh one more thing, they do not offer Free shipping :( which would be nice!
I also noticed they now have a wide selection of Nail Polish too.
Well that is it for today, enjoy your day!
Til next time...

I love the design of this one!!! Too bad about the application though. I want my things to be easy, lol.
ReplyDeleteyeah, it seemed like a lot of work almost more than painting my nails :-P
Deletewow these look awesome! i like to use the nail strips, they go on super easy.
ReplyDeleteyeah i think nail strips would be easier, I haven't tried those yet
DeleteThe thing I noticed most about this blog post wass the cute turtle bowl! :) I like the idea of water decals as a mani/decoration but it seems like a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteLOL it is super cute heh..
DeleteIt looks so beautiful!
ReplyDeletethanks
DeleteI've never tried strips or water decals, but I don't think I have the necessary patience.
ReplyDeleteRight, it was more work than a regular mani thats for sure!
DeleteOoh never tried water decals, I kinda like the design! :)
ReplyDeleteThey look okay but it sounds like a lot of trouble! I'd rather just paint my nails, lol.

I got no desire to try water decals. It sounds difficult! I actually like the pattern just not the colors. Gotta love the kiddie bowl in your set up!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the ones that are more like stickers than water decals, but the pattern on these is pretty! =)
ReplyDeleteI've never tried these. I think I will stick with my Sally Hansen Salon Effects! The pattern is pretty too though and it doesn't look bad on you!
ReplyDeleteNice review :) I was wanting to try water decals but have been unsure to try them...They turned out pretty good on you though!
